Attention 7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball This announcement is for the Make-up game on Wed, Jan 19, vs. Fairfield. They are unable to field two teams. There will be no 7th-Grade game on Wed, Jan 19. The 8th-Grade game will now start at 6 pm.

Attention Volleyball Players Volleyball Practice - Monday, January 17 from 3:00-5:00 pm Parent meeting to follow at 5:15 pm in the Cafeteria

Attention 8th grade parents/guardians: 8th grade students will be participating in the IL Youth Survey on Friday, February 25th. Students will be bringing home information on this survey and an Opt-Out Notice today so please be on the look out for this. Additional information is posted below.

6th-Grade Girls Basketball Announcement The game tonight will be played at the Middle School. Start time is 5:30 pm.

7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball Cancelation Announcement The 7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball vs Fairfield for Thurs, Jan 13 has been cancelled. This game will now take place on Wed, Jan 19 at Richland County Middle School Gym. The start time is 6 pm.

6th-grade Girls Basketball announcement The away game @ Mt Carmel on Fri, Jan 14 has been cancelled.

7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball There has been some confusion with the game vs Vincennes this season. There was a change earlier in the season due to a scheduling conflict with Vincennes. There is NO Boys Basketball Game this evening Mon, Jan 10. The 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Game is tomorrow, Tues, Jan 11 at home vs Vincennes. The start time is 5:30 I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.

7th and 8th-Grade Girls Basketball Flora is unable to field a 7th-Grade Team this evening (Fri, Jan 7) so there will not be a 7th-Grade Girls Game this evening. The 8th-Grade Girls Game will be played at 6 pm tonight, Fri, Jan 7.

7th and 8th-Grade Girls Basketball Cancelation The game for tonight Thurs, Jan 6 at home vs Mt Vernon, Indiana has been cancelled. This game will not be rescheduled. The 7th and 8th-Grade Girls Basketball Team will have practice this evening Thurs, Jan 6 from 5:15 to 7:15. 

Practice for 6th grade Girls Bball(Dec 27) has changed to 10:30-12 @ Middle School

Students at Richland County Middle School donated 1,662 canned food items and non-perishable items. These items were donated to Good Samaritan. Thank you student leadership council for sponsoring this event!!

Make-Up Date Announcement for 7th and 8th-Grade Girls Basketball The Fairfield Girls Basketball Game Make-Up Date is Tues, Jan 4. This game will be played at RCMS - Start time is 6 pm

Attention 7th and 8th-Grade Girls Basketball: The Girls Basketball Game @ Fairfield for this evening, Tues, Dec 14 has been cancelled. The make-up date is yet to be determined.  There will also be no practice this evening. 

Wednesday, December 15th will be the last day for RCMS 5th block after-school programming. Before school programming will continue through December 22nd. Thank you!

6th-Grade Girls Basketball Practice will start on Tues, Dec 14 at 5:20 at RCMS Gym. More information will be handed out that evening.

Volleyball Tryouts will be on Mon, Dec 20. A signup sheet is located on the desk in the hall by the door to the office. You need a current school year sports physical turned into the office in order to tryout. Tryout times on Dec 20th are: 8th-grade - 3:30-4:30 7th-grade - 4:45-6:00 6th-grade - 6:15-7:30
