RCMS Track Meet at Fairfield for Thur, Mar 31, has been cancelled. Both Boys & Girls will have practice at RCMS after school.
The RCMS Track Meet for Wed, Mar 30, has been cancelled due to the threat of rain and strong thunderstorms.
This Meet will not be made up.
Traditional after school 5th block program will end on Thursday, March 31st. We will finish the morning 5th block program on Friday, April 1st. Beginning Monday, April 4th, we will offer after school homework help only from 3:15-4:00pm, Monday thru Thursday. No transportation will be provided. After school homework help will end on Thursday, April 28. Students must be registered for the 5th block after school program to attend this homework help time.

Boys Track and Field
The 1st day of Boys Track and Field Practice will be on Wed, Mar 9 from 3:15 until 4:15 pm.
Students must have current school year physical on file to participate.
Effective immediately, the CDC has updated its guidance and no longer requires masks to be worn on school buses and vans. Students are welcome to continue to wear them if they so choose.

There will be a community Pep Rally Monday night at 7 pm at Ron Herrin Gymnasium at RCHS. Senior boys basketball players and cheerleaders will be honored, high school boys and girls basketball teams will be recognized, and the high school cheerleaders will perform. In addition, our STATE CHAMPION Olney Cubs will be honored for their incredible year. Come out and join us in celebrating these amazing athletes!

RCMS would like to thank Amy Kirby and Lora Kocher from Citizens National Bank of Albion for preparing Goody Bags for the Cheerleaders and the Boys Basketball Team. The Boys Basketball Team will be playing in the Championship Game of the SIJHSAA Basketball Tournament on Friday, Feb 18 at 7:30 pm.
The state championship game for tonight, Thursday, February 17th has been postponed due to incoming weather. The game is rescheduled for Friday, February 18th at 7:30.
We will still be taking fan buses as planned. If you (your student) were on the list to ride the fan bus tonight, be at the school tomorrow by 5:00 to catch the bus to the game. If you have a conflict and have already paid you will be reimbursed.
