🐯 RCMS IS BUILDING MOMENTUM! 🐯
We are excited to introduce Momentum Mondays, a new Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) initiative at RCMS designed to help our students build the skills they need to navigate middle school—and life—with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Each Monday, our students will engage with lessons from Reallyville, an SEL curriculum that gives students opportunities to learn, practice, and reflect on important life skills in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Throughout the year, students will focus on key SEL competencies, including:
🧠 Self-Awareness
💪 Self-Management
🤝 Relationship Skills
🧭 Responsible Decision-Making
❤️ Social Awareness
At the middle school level, we know that success is about more than academics. Our students are learning how to manage emotions, understand themselves and others, make responsible choices, build healthy relationships, and navigate challenges.
That is what Momentum Mondays is all about: helping our students take meaningful steps forward—one Monday at a time.
