The Fairfield Girls Basketball Game Make-Up Date is Tues, Jan 4.
This game will be played at RCMS - Start time is 6 pm

The Girls Basketball Game @ Fairfield for this evening, Tues, Dec 14 has been cancelled. The make-up date is yet to be determined.
There will also be no practice this evening.
Wednesday, December 15th will be the last day for RCMS 5th block after-school programming. Before school programming will continue through December 22nd. Thank you!
6th-Grade Girls Basketball Practice will start on Tues, Dec 14 at 5:20 at RCMS Gym. More information will be handed out that evening.

Volleyball Tryouts will be on Mon, Dec 20.
A signup sheet is located on the desk in the hall by the door to the office. You need a current school year sports physical turned into the office in order to tryout.
Tryout times on Dec 20th are:
8th-grade - 3:30-4:30
7th-grade - 4:45-6:00
6th-grade - 6:15-7:30

I regret to inform you that Ttown has cancelled the game for this evening, Mon, Dec 6. There will also be no practice today for the 7th and 8th-grade Boys Basketball Team.
RCMS Christmas Dance Information:
- The 6th grade dance will take place on December 17 in the RCMS gym from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
- The 7th & 8th dance will take place on December 17 in the RCMS gym from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
** Admission is $1 and one canned food item, which will be donated to those in need this winter. Masks are required and the school dress code will be enforced.

It's time for the BOGO Book Fair! Student shopping begins on Tuesday and goes until Friday, December 3rd! If you would like to shop with your student, the Book Fair will also be open Tuesday night from 5:30-7:00 pm in the RCMS library.

Centralia is unable to field a 7th-grade Team for the game tomorrow Nov, 23.
The 7th-grafe team will have practice after school at RCES from 2:15-3:30
The 8th-grade Team will still play, but will play at 5:30.
RCMS wants to congratulate Coy Shipman, Ian Broussard, Josiah Reynolds, and Savannah Cycholl on participating in the ILMEA District 5 Choir. Way to go students!!!
FREE Children's Orthopedic Clinic
RCMS wanted to thank Coach Music for visiting the middle school today. He spoke to the 8th-grade boys about reaching their full potential and what RCHS had to offer them.
The Richland County School District is amending the 2021-2022 school calendar. There will be no school on Wednesday, November 24th with a 2:00 pm dismissal on Tuesday, November 23rd. This school day will be added to the end of the school year. The last day of the 2021-2022 school year will be Thursday, May 26th.

Attention 7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball Team:
Schedule Change
The basketball schedule has changed. The Boys Basketball Game on Jan 6 @ Lawrenceville has been canceled.
-Instead, on Jan 6, the 7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball Teams will be traveling to Waltonville High School (804 W Knob St, Waltonville, IL 62894) to play Watlonville Jr High. The bus will leave @ 3:45 pm, and the 7th-Grade Game will start @ 6 pm 8th-Grade Game to follow.
-The 7th and 8th-Grade Boys Basketball Team will now be playing Mt Zion Jr High on Sat, Jan 8 @ Mt Zion. The bus will leave the middle school at 7:40 am and travel to Mt Zion. The 7th-Grade Game will start @ 10:30, followed by the 8th-Grade Game.
We want to congratulate our 7th and 8th grade Team Quest participants on capturing 2nd place!! Way to go - we are proud of you!!
