RCMS is inviting all students to participate in an optional Summer (5th Block) Program for three weeks in July: July 11-13, July 18-20, and July 25-27 from 9 am to 11:30 am. A snack will be provided daily. Transportation is available upon request. RCMS participated in the ERFAE milk jug contest! Here are some of the participants.
8th Grade Promotion Dance theme this year is "Neon/Let's Glow" - Reminder dance is for 8th Grade RCMS students only. Thursday, May 18th from 6-7:30 pm at the Best Western Parkside Event Center. School dress code will be enforced.
Students will be released 4 hours early on Friday, May 5 for school improvement activities. Also, the last day for student attendance for the 2022-23 school year will be Friday, May 19 with a one hour early dismissal.
8th Grade Promotion tickets were handed out today - May 2nd. Each student who is in good academic standing received 5 tickets. If you need more tickets call the office at 395-4372 to be added to a waiting list. If you have an excess of tickets, please return them to the office. Thank you!

Richland County Schools are participating in a class contest to raise money for ERFAE! The class that raises the most money from each school will get their teacher "kidnapped" and will receive a PIZZA PARTY. The class with the best decorated "milk jug bank" will get a special treat from Ginger Ales.
All money raised for ERFAE helps fund special projects throughout the year for Richland County Schools.
We want to give a shout out to Prairie Farms for donating milk jugs.
On April 28th ERFAE will collect the money and photo of all the milk jugs for judging.
We had 3 RCMS students compete in the Regional SIJHSAA Golf match on April 25th. They represented RCMS very well! Owen Cycholl & Austin Smith will advance to State and will compete on May 9th! Pictured - Owen Cycholl, Austin Smith & Jereme Higginbotham.
