Five students will be headed to Northern Illinois to compete in the state Mathcounts competition after finishing first in the regional Mathcounts competition. The team of Jereme Higginbotham, Owen Cycholl, Ethel Zuber & Kaitlin Kocher finished first and Finn Lathrop placed first individually as well. Good luck this weekend!

Volleyball Announcement:
The C game scheduled at Salem on March 8, has been canceled. The 7th grade game will start at 4:30
The Book Fair is already halfway over! Only 2 more days left for students to shop!
Volleyball 8th grade night will be Monday, March 13. The 7th grade game will begin at 6:00 pm followed by the 8th grade game. Players and parents will be recognized between games.

Get your smiles ready! Volleyball, 6th grade girls’ basketball and 6th grade boys’ basketball pictures will be taken Tuesday, February 21st starting at 8:30. Be sure to bring your uniforms!
SLC students will be sponsoring an RCMS St. Patrick's Day Dance for 6th-8th Grade on March 17th from 7-8:30 pm. This dance is for RCMS students only. Admission for the dance is $1. School dress code will be enforced.
This is a reminder that students will be dismissed 3 hours early on Thursday, February 16 for school improvement activities. In addition, there will be no school on Friday, February 17 due to parent/teacher conferences and Monday, February 20 for Presidents Day.
